Joshua is a very loving young man. He loves to give hugs, and is learning how to balance giving hugs with offering other kinds of greetings. Joshua is trusting of others, and gives everyone a chance to get to know him. Joshua received a trumpet as a holiday gift, and he loves to play it. He is also interested in other musical instruments. Joshua participates in basketball through Special Olympics, and loves to attend games. He also likes to ride his bike, jump on the trampoline and play electronic games. Joshua wants to open a pizzeria, since pizza is his favorite food. Joshua is bonded to his current foster caregiver, who is unable to adopt him. He has also benefited from attending the same school since kindergarten, providing him with the consistency he needs. The ideal adoptive family would have experience working with children with Down Syndrome and related health issues.
