Volunteer

Lucas County Children Services (LCCS), together with nonprofit community partners, offers programs, special events, and campaigns throughout the year that enrich the lives of the children we serve. We are grateful for contributions of time, talent, and financial or material support that help us provide children with positive, age-appropriate experiences—and the best childhood possible.
High school students (age 14 and up) and adult volunteers assist with initiatives such as the Back-to-School Drive in the summer, the annual Trunk or Treat event in October, and the Holiday Gift Drive each December. These are just a few examples. Additional opportunities include organizing donation drives or contributing much-needed items individually.
We welcome volunteer groups from schools, businesses, civic organizations, church youth groups, as well as individual volunteers. Youth under 18 will need a permission slip from a parent or guardian.
