Lucas County Children Services offers a speaker’s bureau—a group of experienced staff that are trained to inform, educate and engage the citizens of Lucas County. They speak about a variety of topics, such as child abuse and neglect, the functions of the child protection system, mandated reporting requirements, dispelling myths about child protection, and the way the community can help.

Representatives from the speaker’s bureau offer presentations to church and civic groups, block watch organizations, youth organizations, teachers, childcare professionals, parents, volunteers, etc.
