Coordinator Information Technology
Managerial/Professional Division

Lucas County Children Services (Toledo, OH) is accepting applications for a Coordinator Information Technology position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assists in supervising and supporting the work of the department, whose primary responsibility is the support and training of microcomputer users, maintenance of microcomputer hardware, networks and communications. Plans, directs, and monitors work of assign projects and tasks. Research and develop Information and Business projects, ideas, and processes that improve the operations of the Agency. Makes recommendations on hiring, firing and promotion of staff. Assist in the management or resources. Assesses proposed information systems and recommends appropriate action and/or design.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with two years of experience in the field of Information Technology with progressive levels of responsibility, or Associate’s degree with four years of experience in the field of Information Technology with progressive levels of responsibility required.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct systems analysis, project management, and communicate with all levels of agency personnel.
  • Ability to lead or be a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise Information Technology personnel as a project leader.
  • Demonstrated ability to model effective interactions and communication skills in cross-cultural situations required.

Starting Pay: $29.82 per hour / 35 hours/week
