Join us for a time of care giver information and support concluding (11:00am) with a discussion on the risks of children being trafficked while in foster care. Our speaker will be Dr. Celia Williamson, Ph.D., a full professor at the University of Toledo, founder of the first anti-trafficking program in Ohio and, Director of the Human Trafficking and Social Justice Institute. Dr. Williamson, who has been in the field of anti-trafficking work for 25 years will share with us via Zoom (laptop or mobile device required). Attendees will receive a one-hour certificate of attendance.
- The first 15 to register will receive a signed copy of her book “A Seat at The Table.”
- RSVP is required as this event is limited to 32 participants.
- This is a brown bag event as participants need to bring their own snacks as we adhere to COVID-19 restrictions and protocols.
- Masks are strongly recommended, and temperatures will be taken as guests enter the building.
- Please bring people interested in fostering as information will be available during a Q & A session.
