Target Population: 18 and Older

This program is designed for individuals that have been referred for treatment and follows the Emerge Abuser Model. The Batterer’s Intervention Program works to confront the behaviors and attitudes of men towards domestic abuse and provides education and tools to change their behaviors and beliefs.

This program helps clients learn and identify some personal characteristics associated with their personal histories, different types of abuse, and effective communication/relationship strategies as they move through the 3-phase process.

Cost: $130/Assessment, $60/Session, Medicaid, financial assistance can be granted for coverage as needed

Timeframe: 18 Weeks

Target Population: 18 and Older

Based on the Duluth Model is for men who have committed intimate partner violence. Those referred are expected to be able to identify that they have committed an act of partner violence or will be unable to attend.
